Some of you’ll know it already, some of you won’t. But I recently finished an assignment for a Magazine Design where I myself was the subject. We needed to find out where our inspiration was coming from by filling out some forms and get a LEA LEA form out to your friends and family. When receiving those forms back you would find out how people see you. Pretty nice to find that out even if it are things that aren’t that good for your personality.

Well, when finishing the research part we needed to find graphic that fitted our personality and also create designs that fit that profile. This, however, was harder then I thought. It seems that I’m better in designing stuff for others then for myself. At the end I must say though, I’m satisfied with the result.

It’s been a while since I uploaded something into the portfolio section of my blog. But this week I finished a redesign of a website I already made for my aunt. She’s a stylist and needed a website to put some simple info and examples on the Internet. At first I made a simple website for her, but found some time to make some improvements. This was also a hobby project for me to try some new stuff. I’m still SEO optimizing it when I can, but the results so far are online! Take a look at www.mjsverkoopstyling.nl.

This week I finished of the latest newsletter from out company. Again I’m pretty proud about the end result! You can find the whole newsletter here.

A few weeks ago I got contacted by mister Echelard from France. He found my grunged photo on Stock Exchange and asked for a high resolution version of it for use in a cd cover design. Unfortunately, due to a laptop crash I didn’t have it anymore and could only provide him the one he allready found on sxc. Below you’ll find the end result he designed. The last few weeks I’ve been working on the new Quipment.nl website. It launched yesterday. Of course there are some minor glitches, but even the best tested websites have them. And I can tell you one thing, we tested this website a lot!

We wanted a clean and clear design. In my opinion we reached it with this website. We’ll be adding new items on a weekly bases, so people have a reason to visit the website on a more common base.  You can find the website at www.quipment.nl (dutch).

Of course any suggestions or remarks are welcome. I’m no saint, I take critisicm seriously.

It has been a while since my last post, but I’ve been busy with a lot of things. In September I’m going back to school again and the last two weeks I had to figure out some things regarding to it. I’m also enjoying a two week vacation right know to blow of some steam.

Man, the last two weeks have been stressful! We had a lot of important deadlines and as ever we started to late with the project. Luckily everything worked out just fine the last days before my vacation! The brochure about our new product was done on time, and the new company website went online just 4 hours before I finally shutdown my computer!

As of now I’m glad to announce that my Company entered a foreign market and is exploring new things! Exciting!
