The last few weeks I’ve been working on the new Quipment.nl website. It launched yesterday. Of course there are some minor glitches, but even the best tested websites have them. And I can tell you one thing, we tested this website a lot!

We wanted a clean and clear design. In my opinion we reached it with this website. We’ll be adding new items on a weekly bases, so people have a reason to visit the website on a more common base.  You can find the website at www.quipment.nl (dutch).

Of course any suggestions or remarks are welcome. I’m no saint, I take critisicm seriously.

It has been a while since my last post, but I’ve been busy with a lot of things. In September I’m going back to school again and the last two weeks I had to figure out some things regarding to it. I’m also enjoying a two week vacation right know to blow of some steam.

Man, the last two weeks have been stressful! We had a lot of important deadlines and as ever we started to late with the project. Luckily everything worked out just fine the last days before my vacation! The brochure about our new product was done on time, and the new company website went online just 4 hours before I finally shutdown my computer!

As of now I’m glad to announce that my Company entered a foreign market and is exploring new things! Exciting!

It’s been a while since I uploaded anything on the net. Last week I was going to some old image folders I was planning to delete. During that I ran into some nice old photo’s I had lost though out the years. I decided to upload them to SXC because I didn’t saw any similar photo’s on their. They got approved almost immediately!

After a lot of rejections on SXC I kind off forgot to use it anymore. By finding these two photo’s I’m back at Photography again! Not only at work but also a t home.

Man, I’m so busy with designing websites and some really personal stuff I don’t have enough time to write something useful here. However all the hard work is paying of! last week Quipment-ISN, a dutch company, launched it’s new website which you can find at www.isnbv.nl. We used a template design for it and made a redesign in Flash from it.

ISN is also the first company in it’s branche that offers a translation to arabic and turkisch! A lot of work, but as you can see it payed of!

A few days ago I received an email with the message that the picture I took was used in an article.

This is the second time this picture is used somewhere across the world! Pretty nice indeed!

Today I was ordered to design a logo for a product we are planning to put on the market. Therefor I can’t tell you a lot about it.

Anyway, when designing the logo I ran short off good idea’s and concepts. Someone however came with the idea to try a new style of designing. Not the simple and clean approach but a more kind of arty approach. Me getting a bit nervous of the idea (it isn’t exactly the style I like most you know) began to make a test design about a brand who makes tasty drinks . I finished it just a few moments ago. Oh yeah! I ain’t that pleased about the used font either, will fix that in a later stadium.

And here it is! Keep in mind it is the first try of this new style. I got all the graphics from SXC and used a letter explosion which I got through a magazine that came with a handy DVD full of free stock photo’s and vector packs!
