SEO a beginners guide…

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

I’m pretty present on the Google Help forums these days and the last few weeks it seems there are a lot of questions about SEO related things. People want to know why it’s hard for others to find their websites. Most of the time they didn’t even had a look on one of the free SEO guides Internet offers. Wrong use of headings, keywords, titles etcetera, etcetera.

It seems people don’t bother to search properly first, before they begin on their projects. And that leads to the fact, that questions are being asked to soon! Which of course brings a lot of irritations to people reading it. Especially when the answer is in a sticky topic which always stand on page 1 of the forum! That’s one of the main reasons I searched for a good SEO beginners guide.

You don’t hear me saying that this is the best one out there. Of course not! In the contrary, there are a lot more beginner guides out there. However this one got my attention immediately and in my opinion it’s one of the most easy to understand. So looking for a good SEO guide? Most people know what Photoshop is and what it can do! Recently I came across a new upcoming feature of Photoshop. Someone one the SXC forums wrote about it.

It seems the people at the Adobe Labs are busy creating even more. See the link below to find out a nice new feature Photoshop will get in the near future. Hopefully a nice add-on for the CS4 version! Then again, I think they’re going to put it in CS5.

Check it out!

New Quipment website design launchedThe last few weeks I’ve been working on the new Quipment.nl website. It launched yesterday. Of course there are some minor glitches, but even the best tested websites have them. And I can tell you one thing, we tested this website a lot!

We wanted a clean and clear design. In my opinion we reached it with this website. We’ll be adding new items on a weekly bases, so people have a reason to visit the website on a more common base.  You can find the website at www.quipment.nl (dutch).

Of course any suggestions or remarks are welcome. I’m no saint, I take critisicm seriously.
