Portfolio: SXC photo used on CD Cover

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

A few weeks ago I got contacted by mister Echelard from France. He found my grunged photo on Stock Exchange and asked for a high resolution version of it for use in a cd cover design. Unfortunately, due to a laptop crash I didn’t have it anymore and could only provide him the one he allready found on sxc. Below you’ll find the end result he designed. The cd is from the band Ph you can find their myspace page here.

Wordpress and “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

The past few months I kept getting the error, You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page, when trying to update my Word Press version automatically. I also couldn’t edit pages anymore. It took a while of searching different forums all over the web, most of the given solutions weren’t working for me at all. Today however I found time to search for another solution and I found it finally!

It seems that somehow during one of the upgrade processes the database got buggy. It stated I was logged in as an administrator but not all features were enabled though. After I Googled again I found this page. At first I didn’t think this had anything to do with my own problem. However I saw some people posting they couldn’t upgrade automatically anymore. Then I read the post of “lottasound”. He came with the following solution:

I had the same problem but solved like this.

Open your wp database in phpmyadmin.
Under wp-options find wp_user_roles. Replace with:

“Find the full code here”

worked for me :)

And yes! It worked for me to! My Word Press installation is fully functional at this time. To bad it took a while for me to find this solution. By posting it here I hope other people will find it even faster in the near future.
